Last year, I had a really nice response to the blog posts of Christmas gift ideas, so here we go again! I will post new ideas for men, women, and kiddos as often as I can, so check in often.

I received an e-mail from Sephora about these fantastic fragrance “pens”. These travel-sized rollerballs of Juicy Couture, Viva La Juicy, and Couture Couture are all great and very different. My favorite is Viva La Juicy! You can gift these as a set or break them up. It would also be fun to tie on the ribbon on top of someone’s gift! Click here to go straight to the site.

Christmas 9

Christmas 16

I love Christmas! I love checking the mail every day to see the beautiful Christmas cards from friends and family. It is Fall (well hopefully after this weekend, the triple digit temps will go down here in AZ) and that means it is time to take family portraits. Whether you will have your photos taken by a pro or you will take them yourself, you will want a good one for your Holiday cards. I have clients that love sending cards before Thanksgiving, while some send them for New Year’s. December is a crazy month, so I highly recommend an early start. I included a preview of a couple of my designs. We can create an elaborate layered card, a tri-fold card with multiple photos, mini photo albums, or a simple and cost-effective custom photo card.

A huge thanks to Emily of EME Photography for the photos for my Christmas card samples!

Sarah and Jason were married on May 2nd in Michigan.  Sarah and I worked across many miles to create invitations, programs, placecards, a seating board, menus,  thank-you notes, favor cards, etc.   For their invitations, we used a black pocket, ivory linen papers with fuchsia accents, and we placed a small rhinestone on the flourish on the inside of the invite.  They used their monogram as a front label and also throughout the other paper products.  We created custom menus with black and fuchsia borders.  Their programs were elegant booklets with the ivory linen paper and black covers.  We placed the monogram on the front and finished them with a fuchsia ribbon.  They used the “D” from their monogram to create a really cool ice sculpture as well.   I have missed the many long e-mails we sent back and forth, but Sarah happily reported that they had a fantastic wedding day. Thanks to JS Photography for the photos!

I really enjoyed working with Aimee on her invitations and paper products.  They were married at the Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, Arizona.  We created little program booklets to match her invitations, reserved signs, cookie labels for their favors, and wish bowl signs/ papers.  The cookie labels had a message from their puppy, and the cookie was in the shape of a dog. As a dog lover, I really loved the idea!  Everything from the invitation to the welcome letter matched in theme and color.  The amazing photos were taken by Jennifer Bowen.  We used a lot of chocolate brown and apple green, with touches a fuchsia.  They are a really beautiful couple!  Enjoy!
